Bennett is our week 10 A.O. Smith Hot Water Hot Performer after leading Georgia to win over Tennessee
In an SEC showdown between two of the nation’s top-three teams, Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett earned A.O. Smith Hot Water Hot Performer honors after leading the third-ranked Bulldogs to a 27-13 win over top-ranked Tennessee. The 5’11”, 190-pound senior from Blackshear, Georgia threw for 292 yards and scored three touchdowns (two passing, one running) in the win over the visiting Volunteers.
Bennett completed 17 of 25 passes (68%) including TDs of 37 and 5 yards. He also scored on a 13-yard run. For the season, Bennett has completed 198 of 292 passes (68%) for 2,606 yards, with 17 touchdowns (11 passing, 6 running).
Georgia (9-0) next travels to Starkville for a November 12 game against Mississippi State.
