Max Duggan, who scored five touchdowns to lead unranked Texas Christian University to a 55-24 upset of #18 Oklahoma, is our Week 5 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Player of the Week.

Duggan, a 6’-2”, 210-lbs senior from Council Bluffs, Iowa, gained 418 total yards — 302 passing, 116 rushing – in the upset. His three passing touchdowns included a 73-yard score to Taye Barber. He also had two rushing touchdowns, his longest going 67 yards.

For the season, Duggan has completed 70 of 94 passes (75%) for 997 yards, 13 combined passing and running touchdowns, 0 interceptions and 149 yards rushing for the 4-0 Horned Frogs. Next up, TCU visits Kansas on October 8.
